B.Vijayaraj, 32, is a graduate professional lawyer making his electoral debut as the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate from Thiruporur constituency in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. As a first-time candidate, he represents a party barely two years old, founded by actor Vijay on February 2, 2024, which has rapidly grown to claim over 15 million members and is contesting all 234 assembly seats.
