Chandran SS is a 27-year-old graduate and self-employed trader contesting from Tiruttani constituency on a Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) ticket. He represents a relatively young political entrant from a party known for its Tamil nationalist ideology led by Seeman. With declared assets of Rs. 78 lacs (entirely movable assets) and liabilities of Rs. 19 lacs, he presents a modest financial profile typical of emerging political candidates. His clean criminal record shows zero declared cases. The Tiruttani constituency has been a challenging ground for NTK. In the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections, NTK candidate L. Akila secured only 12,007 votes (5.20% vote share), finishing third behind DMK's S. Chandran who won with 120,314 votes (52.09%).
