Thulasi Sudalai

Thulasi Sudalai, a 32-year-old bricklayer with 8th grade education, is contesting from Nanguneri constituency in Tirunelveli district on a Puthiya Makkal Tamil Desam Katchi (PMTDK) ticket. The party was founded on August 22, 2000, by S. Kannappan, a former AIADMK minister who was expelled before establishing PMTDK, which primarily draws support from the Yadava (Konar) community in northern and southern Tamil Nadu districts.
