His current affidavit lists him as a 26-year-old farmer, but web sources describe him as the son of freedom fighter Nellai R. Jebamani who was elected to Tamil Nadu assembly in 1977. According to Wikipedia, he served in Tamil Nadu police for 21 years, joined the CBI in the late 1980s/early 1990s as part of the Special Investigation Team investigating Rajiv Gandhi's 1991 assassination, rejoined state police in March 1993, and took voluntary retirement in 1997—a timeline impossible for someone currently aged 26.
