Rajmohan, 37, is a first-time political candidate contesting from the Egmore (SC) constituency in Chennai on behalf of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections. An 8th pass with declared assets of Rs. 3.47 lakhs and profession listed as driver, he brings a unique background to politics as a former YouTuber who operated the channel 'Tamil Vanakkam' where he developed strong public speaking skills. His candidacy represents TVK's strategic entry into key constituencies following the party's founding by actor Vijay in 2024. Rajmohan faces a challenging four-cornered contest in Egmore against established candidates from DMK (Tamilan Prasanna), AIADMK+ (Abhishek Rangasamy), and NTK (Saranya).
