S.Sarasu

A postgraduate who identifies her profession as housewife, she has declared assets worth approximately ₹1.67 crore with liabilities of ₹8.1 lakh, and maintains a clean criminal record. She has been actively involved in strengthening NTK's presence in the Cuddalore region, a district known for its socio-economic challenges and evolving political dynamics. Sarasu first contested the Cuddalore constituency in the 2016 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, securing 12,497 votes (7.24%) and finishing fifth, marking NTK's first significant presence in state assembly elections. In the 2021 elections, she contested again but saw her vote share decline to 9,563 votes (5.25%), finishing third as the DMK's G. Iyappan won the seat.
