A. Udhayakumar is a 33-year-old lawyer-turned-politician who has experienced both significant electoral success and crushing defeat in Tamil Nadu politics. Born in 1968 in Jallipatti, Dindigul, he began his political career with the AIADMK and achieved his biggest success in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections when he won the Dindigul constituency by over 5 lakh votes.
