Ashok Kumar, also known by his alias 'Magizhan', is a 36-year-old graduate professional working as a YouTube anchor and contesting the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections from Sholinghur constituency on a Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) ticket. With declared assets of Rs. 4.23 lakhs and no liabilities or criminal cases, Kumar represents NTK's grassroots expansion strategy in a constituency traditionally dominated by DMK, AIADMK, and Congress. His candidacy is part of NTK's ambitious plan to contest all 234 assembly seats independently, rejecting alliances with any mainstream parties. Founded by film director Seeman in 2010, NTK promotes Tamil nationalism, opposes traditional Dravidian politics, and advocates for Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka.
