P.L.Sundaram

P.L. Sundaram, 57, is a Communist Party of India (CPI) politician who has been active in Tamil Nadu politics for over a decade. An 8th pass educated social worker, Sundaram made his mark by winning the Bhavanisagar constituency in the 2011 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections, serving as MLA from 2011 to 2016. His low public visibility and consecutive electoral losses since 2011 raise questions about his current political relevance and ground-level connect with constituents in Bhavanisagar.
